Public Health: What’s Digital got to do with it?
From broad public health systems to the individual chronic disease sufferer, there is no question that the digital world is having a significant impact on public health. TogoRun invites the health community, communicators, government officials and social media mavens to join us on June 15th at the Pew Research Center for a panel discussion focused on digital innovation and public health.
Panelists will discuss:
How chronic disease sufferers in the US are finding
health information online
How public hospitals are using digital tools to reach
their communities and change behaviors
Successful methods for transforming public health
within a specific population through smart digital
strategies
Popular health blogger Dr. Val Jones will moderate the discussion and provider her own unique insight and perspective.
The hashtag #digitalhealth will be utilized for this discussion.
